Meet Our Team
Samantha started Rooted Beginnings with the goal of helping parents to build their confidence in understanding their children's development from the very beginning. The first five years are critical to a child's development and she would like to be there to empower you. We hope to help support you and your family to understand how to best facilitate your child's development, participation, and engagement with their environment to improve your family's quality of life.

Since Samantha was a small child, she always knew she wanted to work with children when she got older. After years of playing school in her bedroom (and studying Early Childhood Education at Salisbury University), she was finally able to do the real deal and have her own classroom. She adored working with the children but wanted a more holistic way to work with children and address some of the challenges she was seeing in the classroom. That's when she met occupational therapy. She returned to school for her Masters of Science at Towson University and was voted "most likely to never leave pediatrics" by her classmates. Since then she has fallen in love with all things occupational therapy.
